HerDUM appswork in combination of below three apps:
1. TGC (Territorial Geographic Center) - The app which creates a security zone and works as a controlling entity.
IRA Angel App and HerDUM user app linked with a TGC app work in combination.
2. IRA's Angel App - When HerDUM user presses a SoS alarm, Angels are those who come forward to help HerDUM users.
An Angel is linked with a TGC during registration time.
3. HerDUM user App - HerDUM user app is to be used by victims in need.
They can press SoS button available in the app when they feel to get helped.
As soon as SoS button is pressed, TGC would find a nearby Angel and ask him to assist the victim. HerDUM user is also linked with a TGC at the registration time.
Steps to use HerDUM user app:
1. Someone at the authoritative position would need to install the TGC (Territorial Geographic Center)) app on an Android phone and register.
This would create a Territorial Geographic zone i.e. a security zone of say 2Km radii.
2. Those who would like to assist as Angels/helpers, need to install the IRA's Angel.
They would be asked to provide the TGC D to get linked with.
3. User app registration would also ask for serial number to link it with a TGC and also to control the user app distribution at this point of time.
* User can add emergency contacts in the app, who would also be SMSed when SoS button is pressed by user.
* When user presses the SOS button, an alram is raised, sends SMS automatically to emergency contacts and TGC is informed about the crisis.
TGC finds out a nearby Angel to assist the victim ASAP.
